My family's been coming to Wang's for almost 30 years because the quality of the food is positively unbeatable! The butterfly shrimp, orange chicken, and fried rice is so good that even though we now live on the Westside, my family and I still take the one-hour trek at least once a month for our Chinese food fix. The new location is more contemporary and tastefully decorated, but there are some negatives associated with the move. First, although the food remains fantastic, you get noticeably less for your money. Also, the new restaurant is much smaller so it's difficult, if not impossible, to accommodate large parties like they used to. Notwithstanding the changes since the move, I still give Wang's 5 stars b/c honestly, it's just the best darned Chinese food I've ever tasted!?

Wangs used to be pretty popular when it was on Myrtle Ave. After moving to Lemon Ave and after a very nice remodel, the menu has been revamped. Prices are approx 25% higher and the food has definately changed too. Our Three Flavor Chicken was dry with no sauce for $12.95. The rice that came with it was a small 4 oz for an extra $2. Hardly enough for 2 people. The worst was our waiter who was most likely overly bitter at his decline in business in recent times. His former customers probably vacant after the decline in food quality, and price. He treated us with snide remarks when we asked for a booth instead of a table in the near empty restaurant and I'm sure was trying to teach us a lesson by never returning to refill our water or tea. He felt it necessary to charge my little girl a $2.50 service fee just for occupying a chair at our table because she doesn't like to eat chinese food. When speaking to the owner of the restaurant, he simply listened with an 'ah huh' ...? More ?

I have been a loyal patron of Wangs for many years and was very happy to see that it has re-opened at its new location. The food tastes better than ever and the new place is breathtaking. And as always, the service is excellent. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great place to eat!?

They were closed for a short time, but now they have reopened down the street at 120 E. Lemon Ave, as Wang's Place. I recently have been back to try the food since they reopened, and I must say, the food is still amaing, and how I missed them so much when they were closed. The new restaurant is smaller than the old place, but it's been totally remodeled, its really nice, and makes me feel like Im dining in a really nice place in Vegas. The food is so good, I love their hot sauce on just about anythingm, and all of their seafood dishes are amazing, especially the scallops! This is by far my favorite chinese restaurant!?
